Reflection:

The barriers that I came across when trying to convey messages was trying to make my writing seem exciting. I wanted the reading experience to be fun and enjoyable. I don’t know if I made my explanation too wordy or if its just ok for the audience I am going for. That was my main problem when trying to convey my ideas to my audience.

The process of composing the two different research papers were trying to think of a good storyline and trying to think of reasons why a character might want to build a computer. I am not good with fiction; I prefer writing in nonfiction. However, this was a challenge I was willing to try to overcome.

The two genres that I chose were fiction and mystery. I wanted to choose these because I wanted more freedom in how I write my work and I wanted to express myself. I felt the fiction genre was prefect for this.

I found myself using dialogue a lot, this was important to me because its how I made my characters communicate with each other. I am not that well experienced in writing character dialogue; this is my first time. I feel I need to practice this more so that I can write more fluid and natural sounding dialogue. That is my next big goal.
